# Creator earnings

basket.fund charges a fee when users buy or sell a basket.

The MVP fee is:

```
Buy fee: 1%
Sell fee: 1%
Rebalance fee: 0%
```

Fees are split between the creator and the platform:

```
0.5% to the creator
0.5% to the platform
```

Creator revenue accrues in USDC. In the MVP, it is claimable as Solana USDC once the creator has at least 10 USDC available to withdraw.

This gives creators a direct reason to publish thoughtful baskets and maintain them over time, without charging users for every rebalance.
